“ Fresh fish, consistent delivery every time. We love coming here! I love that you have a choice for how your fish is prepared: fried, broiled or blackened. We usually get a basket with a fresh catch choice. The coleslaw is delicious and fries are always done right. You can't go wrong with the appetizers either. The grouper bites, gator tail or fried pickles are delicious! The tuna poke is also a delight! The service is friendly and low maintenance. You order at the counter, get your drinks from the drink station and seat yourself. Food comes quickly, unless it's busy, then you wait your turn like everyone else. I love when the weather is good because the doors will be open to the intracoastal waterway. You can watch the boat ramp follies or boats traveling in and out of the marina. We like sitting outside on the water if the day is nice. No frills, just good seafood! ”

“ We came here based on the reviews and the line out the door was a good sign. The line went super quick - you're basically waiting in line to order - from there, you grab your drinks and sit down and wait til your food is brought to you. There's plenty of seating, indoors and outdoors. Beware of the birds if you do sit outside. The fried shrimp and fried basa were amazing. Everything is so fresh - the guy in front of us got to pick his fresh fish from the display freezer - that's how fresh it is. Honestly, everything was great and I would come back to try more! ”

“ We found this place for lunch today on our way from St Augustine back up to tge JAX airport. The food was very good. The parking lot was packed. My husband said there were more clams in the clam chowder than he had ever seen. It was confusing for newcomers to understand the traffic flow. They do a brisk business, and they want to move people through quickly so there are all these signs warning you not to sit at a table unless you have a table tracker for food. We had hoped to grab a couple of beers, sit & study the menu, but no such luck. I had paid for the beer but was told I could not sit until I got back in line and ordered food. You make three stops: pay the cashier for food, pick up a table tracker, and pick up drinks at a separate counter (beer or wine). So I ordered the clam basket, which was tasty. My husband had the chowder and a Shrimp Louie salad. I really did not have a chance to see what other options might have looked good. And the staff were all very active, trying to clear tables while we were still finishing up the last few french fries. So, go for the food. But don't expect to chill or relax. It's a fast-moving operation there. ”

“ Me and my friend eat here at least twice a month, the food is priced greatly, delicious, and is always out within 10 mins of ordering on a busy day. The outside area has a great view of the dock and river and really sets the mood. Both thumbs up to the manager Holly for always coming to check to make sure if our dining experience is great! ”

“ Great food, casual but clean environment. You order at counter then they bring it to your table, offer a few different types of beer and desserts in addition to different selection of fried fish, baked fish, different platters. Tables are first come first serve, Parking is tricky but worth it. ”

“ The best grilled shrimp I've had. My husband and I are on a restrictive diet. The staff was accommodating and made sure our order met our needs. We bought a shrimp cocktail and a pound of grilled shrimp. We both enjoyed the shrimp and a few hours later wish we could eat them again. We also liked that this spot felt like a laid back family atmosphere. It's right on the water and you can sit inside, on a screened porch or outside patio. “ Phenomenal Food!!! Excellent!! Reminds me of the Florida I have always loved, all in a restaurant!! My husband and I found this restaurant, and I had not had gator tail in awhile. We ordered that, blackened Shrimp Nachos, clam chowder, and blackened Red Fish. We decided to put the salsa on the side; and we are happy that we did that. It was sweet with some hot too it. I didn't care for it with the nachos. But the nachos were so good looking, a couple stopped me and said they were drooling just looking at our shrimp nachos. Said they were going to order it next time!! The Red Fish was perfectly made! And gator tail? I mean, come on!! Yummy!! The clam chowder is definitely made with Florida in mind, with a lot of butter with cream. It's definitely not New England or Pacific Coast clam chowder. The staff all were kind, helpful and kept everything clean! When you were done with your food, they came by and picked it up. Overall, I think this is the BEST seafood restaurant in Jacksonville!! And when I come back to the area, this will definitely be one of my stops! I look forward to trying more items on the menu! ”

“ Food was good! I did not expect this to be an order at the front and then they'll bring it out to you kind of place. I ordered the clam strips (tasty), fries (delicious!), and it came with a side of hush puppies (not good - completely overcooked). I also ordered their crab Savannah soup. Yeah, don't order it. Didn't taste very good (honestly pretty tasteless) and if there was any crab in there? I didn't see it. ”
